Photography Website and Branding
Being a small business is hard work. One tends to wear every hate imaginable. Kendra was doing just that. Between trying to schedule photoshoots in other towns, managing projects and communication, and trying to upkeep her website, it was becoming too much.
Her website wasn’t showing the world what she is capable of. We wanted to showcase not only the stunning images but present her diverse portfolio that would land her more of her ideal clients.
Her logo was old, created when she first started. It no longer reflected the business. Her photography is professional, creative, and she has a gift of capturing the moment. Her logo needed to reflect the sophistication and experience Kenra provides.

Goals for the Website
- Allow viewers to instantly see the type of work she does
- Create trust and likability by using Kendra’s personality and words throughout the site
- Showcase diverse portfolio
- Get potential clients on her mailing list and contacting her through her form
Goals for Branding
- Create a modern look that speaks to the types of clients she wants to work with
- To be simplistic and elegant
- To appear professional and accurately depict the high quality work she does

Obstacles
Her website was relatively new when she contacted me. She didn’t have much in place in terms of a blog or marketing funnel.
My goal was to give her a strong foundation to build her site on. We created a blog for her to share photos and her knowlege of photography. It’s important that we establish her a creative and knowledable professional who her ideal clients can trust.
Solutions
With a strong framework to build on, she can easily create blog posts to help boost her SEO and to build authority (so she can establish herself as an expert in her field).
As this is an on-going project, we are developing a marketing funnel for her to start gathering email addresses and creating opt-ins.
For the average person, working with a photographer can be nerve-wracking. Not knowing what to wear, what the expectations are, and how to pose are only a few things that people tend to worry about. I’m helping Kendra build trust with her potential clients by offering them solutions and answers to these worries.
If we can give them peace of mind from sharing Kendra’s knowledge – can you imagine how it is to actually work with her?
